Landscape

I like this landscape picture because its very interesting to me and i like the foregrounds. The wagon on the field is pretty cool, well everything is . I like the contrast it has. And it brings out the sunlight.

Manjari Sharma

Manjari was born in Bombay, India. She studied photography for her own good benefits. She took snapshots of her family for practice. If you wanted a stranger to photograph you naked, Manjari is the right photographer. She would invite you over for tea and converse with you, to get to know you more. Manjari has a good sense of humor.
I like Manjari because she seems very creative in what she does and she puts plenty of thought into it and has no shame. I think she is a good photographer because she is serious about her photos but yet still humorous. She thought she was going to become a dietition but photography was more of her passion. Talking people into taking naked pictures in her bathroom is a good skill to have. I think it's pretty cool and it's different.

Diversity in Arts .

This assignment was fun. It took a lot of hard work and you need to stay on task and be focused. In this portrait there is a dancer, actor, and artist. They are in front of the Grand Theater as you can see. We used 2 strobe lights. It was hard for us to come up with an idea for the actor like which pose should he strike. I don't think that was a good idea. I took this photo like i was kneeled down on the floor so they can be like on a higher level. I like this photo.

Final.

We didn't reallt have to do too much for this assignment. But we went outside with this like tall three sided board, an umbrella and another white board so it will lighten up your eyes. We had the umbrella to put over the photographer so the picture won't be too bright. Once we were done with the shoot we uploaded the pictures to the computer &opened it up with photoshop. Then I made a new layer, change that layer to overlay, change the picture to high pass 6.0 pixels, after that I went to images and clicked invert. Next I clicked opacity, it's where the layer box is and i changed it to 60% . Then you add a mask layer to layer1. Then you go to the brush tool and you gotta make sure it's black first then white on the bottom, and then you hold down shift and press the left bracket key to make the brush edges softer and then hold down shift and press the right bracket key. Softening wasn't too hard, it's just that you have a lot of steps to do and you have to make sure you do them right. It's a little hard picking the right brushes you want for your picture because you want it to look right and the coloring.

Sequence

This is my sequence project. I titled this book Isolate because a girl is lonely. I shot many photos and this is telling you that someone is lonely. But a friend does come and converse then someone else comes and takes the friend away and leaves the original person there... alone again. I printed all these photos and cut them out. I created a book and then I pasted all the pictures to the book. once all my pictures were pasted in I painted the cover orange and did some other stuff to the cover . 

Studio Lighting

This is a young man, standing on the left, It is a figurative image, but there's a lot of white in the back. It's a balanced picture because the shadow is balancing the picture. Yes I did this intentionally so the lightning can hit his face and the shadow stands out. It's a sharp picture and the tones are are detailed. The image is light because a light was flashing on him. This was taken indoors. I think my work was successful because you can tell it's a studio light picture because of the shadow.

Self Portrait

I took 4 different photos. while taking these photos I tried to change something different for each group of picture.I had to crop them all and resize. Once I got done cropping I copied and paste  it to a new page. I copied each photo four times. In order for me to move each photo I had to click the layer of the number. I moved them side by side. Once I was done and I was happy with it, I flattened the page and it all became one layer. I had to do 4 different personas . This was a pretty fun project .

Michael !

The process of me doing this was that I went to Mrs. Alvarez blogspot and I clicked on this link and I chose this sunny cloudy background and then went to google and randomly picked Michael Jackson to stand out. I saved the pictures to the computer and edited it on photoshop. I had to crop both images, and I used the lacso tool to crop Michael's body. I copied both images and pasted them to a new page . When the whole project was done I flattened it so it can save as one tab. I actually liked this project. It wasn't hard  you just have to remember what to do.
